The Metal Lab event association was founded in Vienna in January 2020 with the vision of promoting the local metal scene with international headliners and making it accessible to a wider audience. Our Heathen Gathering Event is primarily dedicated to the genres of folk metal, pagan metal, medieval rock and those bands that place paganism or various mythologies of history in the center of their work. As a cosmopolitan and tolerant association, the origin of the respective mythology is irrelevant to us and we act according to the motto "Main Thing = Pagan".
